Originally a New York native, Ms. Friedman graduated cum laude in 1980 from the law school of the State University of New York at Buffalo. She had previously earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kent State University and Georgia State University, respectively. She graduated magna cum laude from both institutions. Ms. Friedman's practice emphasizes corporate and business law, franchise law, mergers and acquisitions and general transactional matters. Ms. Friedman is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. In 2008, Ms. Friedman was named one of "Georgia's Legal Elite 2008 -- The Best Lawyers in Georgia" by GeorgiaTrends magazine. Ms. Friedman is "AV Peer Review Rated," the highest peer review rating given by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.
