A native of Chicago, Mr. Cohen
graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa cum laude from Northwestern
University in 1957, and received his law degree
from the University of Chicago in 1960. After
practicing law in Chicago during the 1960's, he
moved to Atlanta and began practicing law with
an established Atlanta firm in 1971. In 1977,
he, with Martin M. Pollock and H. Stephen Merlin,
established the law firm that is today Cohen Pollock Merlin & Small. In 2004, Mr. Cohen retired from the practice of law.
