We represent commercial lenders and banking organizations and borrowers in term loans, construction loans, mortgage loans, revolving credit loans, lines of credit loans, accounts receivables financing, factoring, letters of credit and other secured loans. Many times this includes multiple borrowers and guarantors and various types of real and personal property assets, located within and without the State of Georgia.

In our representation of the lender, we assist with the structuring of the loan transaction, the preparation and negotiation of the commitment letter and the loan closing documentation, and the due diligence review of collateral and the borrower’s closing deliveries. With our firm’s adjacent bankruptcy and creditor’s rights practice, we also counsel our clients regarding the enforcement of loans, foreclosures and realization of collateral.

We represent several publicly owned commercial clients in obtaining, negotiating and maintaining their complex multi-million dollar credit facilities and subsequent re-financings and modifications. We handle complex multi-asset and multi-state collateral for these facilities and have extensive experience with respect to the Uniform Commercial Code, asset-based lending, trademarks, securities, motor vehicles, leasing due diligence, and real property collateral.
